By using Outlay, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. It's that simple.
WHAT OUTLAY IS
Outlay is an effort-tracking application that runs entirely on your device. It lets you log activities, organize them into categories, and view insights about how you spend your time. All data is stored locally on your device.
NO ACCOUNTS
Outlay doesn't require or support user accounts. You download the app and use it immediately. There's nothing to sign up for.
YOUR DATA
- All data is stored locally on your device
- We have no access to your data
- You are responsible for backing up your data via the export feature
- If you delete the app, your data is deleted permanently
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or copy the app
- Use the app for illegal purposes
- Redistribute the app outside of official app stores
FREE SOFTWARE
Outlay is free to use with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, but core functionality will remain free.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Outlay is provided "as is." We do our best to make it reliable and useful, but we can't guarantee it will meet all your needs or be error-free.
We are not responsible for:
- Data loss due to app deletion, device failure, or user error
- Any decisions made based on data tracked in the app
- Interruptions in your ability to use the app
CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these terms. Since there are no accounts, we can't notify you directly—check this page periodically. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
